Realignment Season: What's Guiding You?Exploring Three Values Shaping Your LifeHey friend, I’ve been thinking about how easily we can drift—how subtle the distance becomes when life gets busy, and suddenly, we’re living slightly out of tune with what matters most. If your soul’s been whispering, “Come back home,” this one’s for you. The Big Thought: The Compass WithinYour values are the quiet compass of your life. They shape how you think, love, and move through the world. When you live in alignment with them, you feel at peace. But when you drift, something inside aches—the soul knows when it’s out of rhythm. Our actions echo our values. What you hold most deeply becomes the blueprint for your choices. So when life feels unclear, the invitation is simple: return to what truly matters. Today, I want to share three values that anchor my own journey—Spirituality, Community, and Freedom.
Your spirituality is the heart of who you are. It’s how you commune with the Source of all life—the quiet knowing that you’re never alone. Ask yourself: What kind of relationship do I want with the Divine? Faith isn’t static; it grows and evolves as we do. Sometimes, our spirituality expands beyond old forms. That’s not rebellion—it’s awakening. “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” — Jeremiah 29:13 The value of spirituality calls us to honesty, intimacy, and alignment between our inner and outer life.
Community is where our love becomes visible. It asks: What kind of world am I helping to create? We thrive when we belong, and we belong most deeply when we serve. “Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” — Proverbs 31:9 Your presence, words, and actions ripple outward. You’re both a citizen of heaven and of earth—what kind of citizen do you want to be?
Freedom isn’t the absence of responsibility—it’s the presence of truth. It’s living authentically, making choices that reflect your highest self. “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” — 2 Corinthians 3:17 Freedom begins within—with the courage to live aligned with what you know is true. Your TurnWhich of these three values—spirituality, community, or freedom—needs more attention in your life right now? What would one small act of alignment look like this week? Hit reply and let me know; I'd love to hear your reflection. |
Thoughtful guidance, encouragement and hope-filled reminders for your spiritual and self-leadership journey.
Give It a Rest! The Earth Needs a Sabbath Too How a 3,000-year-old command still applies to our modern life This week, I’ve been thinking about rest—the kind that goes beyond a quiet evening or a weekend off. The kind that restores creation itself. Sometimes the world feels weary, doesn’t it? I wonder if, just like us, the earth longs for Sabbath too. The Big Thought: The Earth Needs a Sabbath Too In Leviticus 25, God gives Moses an instruction that feels remarkably relevant today: “For six...
